3 Oaks Gaming is a developer that seemed to have played it safe with their themes up to this point. The Luck of the Irish theme, the Western theme, the Aztec theme, Chinese mythology. This is the first time 3 Oaks have stepped outside of the box, and developed their own unique theme, based on a game concept they came up with.
This slot’s theme is based around the teapots, and the critical features they offer to the player. While the background isn’t scenic or too atmospheric, the graphics are strong enough and the animations are still quite good, so it serves its purpose well. There is also an Asian element to both the soundtrack and visuals.
You’ve also got plenty of different symbols to work with. You have the standard card numbers and letters. You also have the fox symbol, the coloured dog, turtle and rabbit symbols (which contribute to the Boost, Multi and Double features, respectively), and the old native symbol. The native is the Wild, which is also the highest scoring standard symbol at 60x if you score five of them.
You also have your Jackpot symbols, and the Golden teapots, which act as multipliers. The scatter symbols are represented by plain golden teapots that have no multiplier. There are plenty of symbols to work with, and overall, 3 Oaks have done a good job aligning their theme with the great game feature of the 3 Teapots.

3 Hot Teapots can offer huge wins, especially if you hit one of the teapot features. However, the wins are accessible enough, which means it is a medium volatility game. The wins you get at 3 Hot Teapots are a decent amount, and you get them frequently enough to make it a medium volatility slot with a nice variety of payouts.
The Return to Player, as well, is more than fair for this game. The RTP for 3 Hot Teapots is currently 96.3%, which is a good bit above the average of 96%. Still, as a medium volatility game, we do think it could be a little higher than that.
