Cash Elevator Features

Despite the lack of traditional Scatter symbols, Cash Elevator boasts a range of special features and bonuses that can serve up big wins. You’ll benefit from upgrading symbols throughout the 13 stages of the base game and 2 core bonus features await on the very top floor.

Wild Symbol

Although Cash Elevator does have a wild symbol, it’s only present during the Dead Lovers Free Spins bonus. It will substitute for all regular paytable symbols when landing as part of a winning combination.

Cash Elevator Feature

The base game is representative of an elevator in a building with 13 floors and a basement and as the elevator rises and descends, the symbols on the reels will alter. On the first floor, all paytable symbols are present on each of the reels. Starting on the 2nd floor, and every higher floor thereafter, the lowest value symbols are progressively removed from the reels, meaning at the higher floors only the most valuable symbols appear on the reels.

To reach the higher floors, you’ll need to land arrow symbols on reel 3. These will alter which floor you’re on depending on the respective number.

  • Up Arrow Symbol: Ascend 1, 2, 3 or 12 floors from your current position.
  • Down Arrow Symbol: Descend 1, 2 or 3 floors from your current position.

Additionally, whenever a winning combination lands with the lowest value symbol from that floor, the elevator will rise by +1 floor.

Note that progression is not saved when changing your stake. Altering your bet will reset the game back to the 1st floor.

Basement Feature

Whenever the elevator moves below the 1st floor, the Basement Feature activates and automatically moves you to a random floor between the 1st and 12th.

Cash Elevator Free Spins and Bonus

Cash Elevator serves up 2 core bonus features – Dead Lovers Free Spins and the Hold and Spin feature.

Hold and Spin Feature

If you manage to reach the 13th floor, you’ll trigger the Hold and Spin feature. You’ll then need to choose 1 of 3 options to determine how many Money Symbols are initially present on the reels – this can range from 3 – 11. Before the bonus begins, the elevator will move to a random floor.

You’ll start the feature with 4 respins. Only special symbols are present during the bonus – Money Symbols, Multiplier Symbols and Fixed Money Symbols that depend upon which floor the feature plays out on.

Whenever at least 1 Money Symbols lands, it will remain on screen for the duration of the feature and the respin counter is reset back to 4. The bonus ends when either the respin counter reaches zero or all reel positions are filled.

Dead Lovers Free Spins

Whenever a full 1×3 Wild lands on reel 2 or 4 you’ll trigger the free spins on Cash Elevator. Select 1 or 3 options to reveal your starting number of free spins. This can range from 6-12 free spins. If you trigger the feature by landing full 1×3 Wilds on both reels 2 and 4 you’ll earn between 12-24 initial free spins. Before the feature begins, the elevator will move to a random floor.

At the start of the feature, full 1×3 wilds are present on reels 1 and 5. Whenever a win occurs with the lowest paying symbol of the current floor, the wilds will move 1 reel towards each other, first to reels 2 and 4, then meeting on reel 3. When they merge into a single symbol on reel 3 you’ll receive +5 free spins. Additional wins with the lowest paying symbol will split them again and they’ll start moving across the reels once more. Wild symbol movement and potential retriggers can occur indefinitely until all free spins play out.

Cash Elevator Theme and Symbols

Cash Elevator’s theme is key to the overall gameplay. As you spin, you’ll rise and fall between floors as you ultimately aim to reach the top. The sense of mystery that surrounds the slot is also represented by the range of stylised symbols.

As usual, smaller wins are awarded via 9-A royals. The upper end of the paytable, however, is depicted by a curious range of thematically-inspired symbols with the premium offering 50x your stake for 5 of a kind on any payline.

Cash Elevator RTP and Volatility

Pragmatic Play and high volatility online slots go hand in hand and Cash Elevator doesn’t deviate from the norm. Whilst It does feature high variance gameplay, it also boasts an impressive 96.64% RTP that can help your bankroll keep ticking over.

How To Play Cash Elevator

Cash Elevator features familiar 5×3 slot gameplay with a classic payline model. You’ll need 3 or more matching symbols to land to achieve a win and the more that appear, the more valuable the payout will be. However, it also incorporates new and interesting mechanics that help it to stand out in a saturated market.  As opposed to utilising traditional Scatter symbols, it instead features a progressive gameplay structure where the end goal is to progress to the top floor to activate certain features.

Functionality-wise, however, it remains similar to other slots. You’ll find all of the core functions beneath the reels. There, you can alter your stake, between the €0.20 minimum bet and €100 maximum bet, check paytable information and the game’s rules as conveniently as possible.

Slotsia’s Review

At first glance, Cash Elevator has all the attributes of a classic 5×3 online slot, which should broaden its initial appeal. Yet some players prefer something different and may choose to avoid releases that don’t offer something new. Thankfully though, this release does.

The progressive base game system helps to alleviate some of the potential boredom of searching for a specific number of Scatters to trigger certain features. Instead, what you have here is a slot that evolves as you play. As always, the features are going to play a large role in landing larger wins. However, when you’re on the higher floors you can end up with a series of large payouts in the base game, which gives you an incentive to keep playing.

Ultimately, we feel as though it’s a well-designed slot that offers plenty of excitement – the 20,000x maximum win doesn’t hurt either.
