Disco Beats Demo: Feel the Musical Vibes From Habanero

Disco Beats is a low volatility slots game produced by Habenero Gaming in 2022. It is one of the first major slot games that Habenero Gaming has produced, with mixed reviews. It initially caught attention in the Disco Beats demo for the high end engine and immersive graphics, which has become a signature for Habenero Gaming

However, as the game picked up in popularity and more avid slot players began to play it, it became the perfect slots game for anyone look for a quick game. It’s relative simplicity is another reason people enjoy this Disco Beats slot. Unlike most other games these days, there are only 3×3 reels, and 27 pay lines.

We played the Disco Beats demo to compile this review and recommend you do the same – you can start the demo by clicking above.

Disco Beats Features

Lightning Scatters

Like most other slots, the Disco Beats game offers scatter symbols that will get you free spins. The difference with this type of scatter symbol and others is that you don’t need to get a consecutive number to activate free spins. You only need to get one Lightning Scatter in order to activate your free spins. Every lightning scatter you get will gain you free spins, so one lightning is 5 free spins, and two lightning scatters is 10 free spins. This Disco Beats bonus is the best one you’ll find in the game.

Wild Hearts

Similar to the Lightning Scatters, this operates exactly the same as any other wild symbol. If you get one of these Wild Hearts, it can operate as any other symbol in the reels. Another factor is that these hearts also operate as a symbol, and if you get three Wild Hearts, you get a 22.2x multiplier, which is one of the highest multipliers that you can get in Disco Beats.

There aren’t many unique features you can get in Disco Beats, but that is part of its charm. It has limited reels, so the focus is solely on winning and multipliers. There is no need to have an abundance of different features, as simplicity is the strongest point of Disco Beats, whether you’re playing the real game or the Disco Beats free play demo.

Disco Beats Free Spins and Bonuses

Despite not being feature heavy, free spins are still an integral point of Disco Beats. Once you get a Lightning symbol, you’ll get five free spins. However, in our experience, when you get free spins, it rarely only is five. You’ll find the free spins will soon accumulate, and you’ll end up with 15, sometimes 20, free spins.

The free spins is where you’ll find most of the multipliers. When we were playing the Disco Beats demo, we hit three disco balls, three records and three music notes, all within a few spins of each other. If you’re playing this game to try to make a little bit of money, then try to aim to get those free spins. That is where the investment will start to pay off.

The Bonus Wheel is also a huge incentive. If you activate the Bonus Wheel, you get taken to a Wheel of Fortune style game, with a number of rewards in play. The Grand Jackpot (10,000x), Major Jackpot (1,000x), Minor Jackpot (500x) and Mini Jackpot (100x). You also get some cash rewards, which act as simple multipliers.

Disco Beats Themes and Symbols

The theme for this slot game is fairly self-explanatory, and whatever you expect to see, you will see. In stunning graphics, you’ll be met by a disco themed game, with bright neon pink, and other bright neon colours greeting you on the screen.

You also have a disco ‘singer’ standing next to the reels, while the disco themed music plays over the screen. Due to the 3×3 reels, there aren’t many symbols, but the symbols all fit the aesthetic. Music notes, disco balls, and records are all the symbols you’ll find here. It’s a nice aesthetic, and Habenero delivers again when it comes to their range of jackpot slots.

Disco Beats RTP and Volatility

Disco Beats is clearly a game designed to be a little fun, and not be taken too seriously. As a result, it did not surprise us that it was a low volatility game. The volatility of the game determines how much and how often you will win at that game. A low volatility game means you generally win often, but the wins are smaller. Meanwhile, a high volatile game means you don’t win as much, but the wins are huge.

The highest multiplier in Disco Beats is 22x, so it is clear it is designed to be a low volatility game for smaller wins. The RTP of Disco Beats is also very good, especially for a low volatility game. The Return to Player determines how much you will get returned to you if you play the game over a longer period of time. The Disco Beats RTP is 96.62%, which is well above average.

How to Play Disco Beats

The great thing about the simplicity of Disco Beats, is that it is so straightforward to play the game. There are no extraneous features you have to worry about, you just start the game up, and you can play away.

Everything you’ll need is on the bottom banner. On the bottom left, you’ll see the bets you want to make, and the ‘bet level’ you want to make. This essentially is just a way of tracking your bets, and seeing how many bets you want to automate. The bottom right will show you your credit, and how much you want to stake. The minimum stake you can make is €0.09, and the maximum stake is €1,800 – this means that it is very much open to high rollers, but remember that low volatility means that major wins will be infrequent.

In the centre, simply click the play button to make your bet. The rotating button is for autoplay as you chase the massive 1,277x maximum win.

Slotsia’s Review

Overall, we are fans of Disco Beats. The play is simple, and there are no overwhelming features to worry about. They have a great free spins function, and the Bonus Wheel is a cool feature that we feels adds just enough excitement to the game. However, if you’re looking for low stakes fun, Disco Beats is the game for you.

That being said, it is not a game that will entertain you for too long, and the lack of features means it can get quite dull if you play it for too long. Still, for short term fun, it’s one of the better low volatility slot games we’ve seen. Try the Disco Beats demo at the top of this page to see for yourself!
