Fire Strike Demo: Try the Slot and Read Our Full Review
The Fire Strike game was developed and produced by Pragmatic Play in 2019. If you try out the Fire Strike demo, you may notice a lot of features that have become characteristic in Pragmatic Play games. That is because this is one of the first games that the provider added a lot of features into, which is why the game has become so popular.
There are plenty of unique symbols, great multipliers and free spin bonuses to take advantage of in the Fire Strike slot game, not the least of which is the famous Fire Strike symbol. Of course, Fire Strike offers plenty more features, but let’s talk in depth about the features that helped Fire Strike stand out amongst the crowd.
Fire Strike Features
If you try the Fire Strike demo free play for yourself, these are the features that you will encounter.
Fire Strike Symbol
So, what makes the Fire Strike symbol so unique? Well, the more you collect, the more you will notice the incredible rewards it offers the player. You have to hit at least 6 to activate this feature, but once you activate it, you will be able to start seeing the rewards. 6 Fire symbols gives you a reward equal to your bet, 7 gives you a 2x, 8 gives you a 8x bonus, and so on, and so forth. It goes all the way to 14 Fire Strike symbols, which is the highest multiplier at 2500x.
The only thing better than 14 is 15, which is a Jackpot. If you hit the Jackpot, it’s 25,000x your initial bet: which is a huge jackpot to stumble into! This Fire Strike bonus is the selling point of this video slot – and it’s clear why.
Wild Symbols
The Wild symbols in Fire Strike are fairly straightforward. There are no other hidden features with these Wild symbols, they will just shift into the reels that get you the greatest rewards. But, in some cases, the Wild symbols can take on the form of two separate reels. If you have two winning rows or columns in a spin, a Wild symbol can substitute for two separate symbols, meaning it will help you get that double win.
Fire Strike Free Spins and other Bonuses
Unfortunately, the major downfall of Fire Strike is that there is no free spins function. There are no scatter symbols, which means you cannot access any kind of free spins. In our expert opinion, it seems Pragmatic Play put all their effort into making the Fire Strike symbols the selling point of this slot game, rather than implementing any kind of Fire Strike free spin function. In our own experience, when playing the Fire Strike demo, we noticed that they were lacking in free spins, but it did not overly effect our enjoyment of playing Fire Strike.
That being said, the Fire Strike 2 slot – a sequel – is a worthy successor and we can highly recommend it if you miss the free spins, as the feature included in this version; it also has a mammoth 25,000x maximum win.
Fire Strike Theme and Symbols
The theme of Fire Strike is exactly what it sounds like: a fiery landscape that is reminiscent of an old school slot game. The design and outline of the entire screen is pretty simplistic. The background is simple flames, that scorch and burn away in the background as you play. All of the symbols push the burning and fiery theme, with all of the symbols representing some kind of fire-related objects.
Some of the symbols include the Fire Strike symbol, the Burning Wild symbol and Burning Bar symbols. The other symbols are more reminiscent of more classic slot symbol options, with 7s, triple 7s, and playing cards making up the sum of the rest of the symbols. Aesthetically, the game is easy to look at, and the high-end engine Pragmatic Play uses means gameplay is smooth and immersive.
Fire Strike Volatility and RTP
Taking into account the Fire Strike symbols, and how central they are to the Fire Strike experience, we were not surprised that Fire Strike is a highly volatile game. The volatility of a game is determined by how likely you are to win, and how much you can win. For example, a low volatility game would see a player winning more often, but the wins are smaller. But, a high volatility game sees a player not winning as often, but when they do win, the wins are large. With the Fire Strike symbols and the high multipliers, there is no doubt that Fire Strike is a high volatility game.
The RTP for Fire Strike is also around average. The Return to Player is how likely it is that a player will win over a long period of time. So, the RTP in Fire Strike is 96.5%, which is slightly above the industry standard, but not incredibly high. We expected this, as we found while playing the Fire Strike demo free play, we only won every once in a while. But, the wins we did get were certainly big.
How to Play Fire Strike
Fire Strike, in many ways, is a throwback to the slot games of old, that you would find in a big casino in Las Vegas. As a result, playing Fire Strike is just as simple as playing one of those slot games. Once you boot the game up, there’s only a couple of things that you need to keep in mind.
On the bottom left, you will see the credit you have remaining, and your bet amount. The minimum amount you can bet is 10c, and the maximum amount is $50. On the right hand side, is where all your betting options will be. You can press the rotating button to bet, and the minus/plus symbols either side of that raise or lower your betting amount.
The auto-play button underneath will enable automatic betting. You can also adjust the volume by clicking the volume button beside your remaining credit.
Slotsia review of Fire Strike
Overall, Fire Strike is a solid slot game. If you’re looking for a classic experience, that focuses on a couple of main features, this is the one for you. It is simple, easy to play and will reward you over time if you stick with it. The Fire Strike symbol, in particular, is the main selling point of this slot game. When we played the Fire Strike demo, that’s what we aimed for, and that’s where we found our most success.
However, it is hard to ignore some of the major flaws with Fire Strike. The lack of free spins, or any kind of free spin offer, is disappointing. In many ways, compared to some other similar games, it seems to be a one trick pony. But, it still offers value. Try out the Fire Strike demo yourself to make up your own mind about this slot game.
