Wheel of Fortune Megaways Features
While Wheel of Fortune Megaways isn’t the densest video slot ever made when it comes to functions and features, it still packs a number of interesting inclusions that will keep players spinning the reels.
Whenever a Wild symbols lands, players get the random opportunity for the symbol to transform into a Wild Megastack. In turn, this transforms the entire reel that the symbol belongs to into a column of stacked Wild symbols, opening up the chance to score some incredible wins!
The biggest change that this video slot version of Wheel of Fortune features, is the inclusion of Megaways. The random reel modifier will change the number of symbols that appear on each reel with every spin. Variations in the number of symbols appearing on each reel add hundreds, even thousands more ways to win!
Wheel of Fortune Megaways Free spins and Bonus
The Wheel of Fortune Megaways’ main event is the Free Spins mode. To enter this bonus section, players need to collect a minimum of 3 Scatter symbols, represented by the show’s very own logo. Once in, players need to spin the wheel of fortune to decide on the starting number of Megaways that will be in play during Free Spins.
During the Free Spins themselves, players are able to land Expanding symbols. Whenever the Expanding symbol lands, it is replaced by two symbols, effectively increasing the symbol count for that specific reel by 1. Each reel can be increased by a maximum of 10 symbols. Once the max count is reached on a reel, the wheel spins once more, awarding an additional 12 Free Spins. Should players manage to get a max count on all 6 reels, they will be in for the maximum tally of 1 million Megaways.
Wheel of Fortune Megaways Theme and Symbols
For this version, BTG & IGT have opted for a more simplistic design. It mirrors the current show format, which did away with the more flamboyant visuals it held in the 70s and 80s. This results in a decent enough looking slot, but the lack of panache makes it feel like something might be missing here and if it weren’t for the slot’s logo staring at you from the top right corner for your screen, you could very easily forget that this is a Wheel of Fortune video slot.

Slotsia’s review of Wheel of Fortune Megaways
Wheel of Fortune is a balanced experience that manages to create a more relaxed playing environment. While visually it isn’t quite striking and it certainly doesn’t break any new ground in its features, yet the spot-on implementation of the elements in play results in a thoroughly enjoyable video slot.
Good implementation of Megaways function and additional features.
Well balanced numbers that create an even experience.
Lack of innovative features.
Not enough connections to the Wheel of Fortune show itself.
